Machine down right now?
Call rather than email. Before we despatch anyone we will run a quick phone diagnosis — a good proportion of extraction faults turn out to be compressed air, a tripped overload or a pulse timer setting, and can be sorted in minutes without a service call.

Before you contact us
Two minutes of preparation turns a three-email back-and-forth into a single reply with a price on it.
- Find the rating plate. It is usually on the side or rear of the collector cabinet. Photograph the whole plate, in focus, so the model and electrical details are readable.
- Count the cartridges. Open the access door and count them. This confirms the model even when the plate is unreadable.
- Check the cartridge mounting. Small hole or through hole — the most common ordering error on TODC units. What to look for →
- Note your differential pressure reading if the unit has a gauge. It tells us a great deal about filter condition before anyone opens anything.
- Know what you cut. Mild steel, stainless, galvanised, aluminium — and roughly what proportion. This drives which media we recommend.
If you cannot find any of it, contact us anyway. We will talk you through it.
